1.fitted violin outfit (should come with bow, rosin and case)
2.KUN chin rest (my preferred brand) or a foam chin rest attached with rubber band
3.Suzuki Violin Volume 1 Book with CD.
Finding the right size:
With violin on left shoulder, snug to neck, arm extended, the end of the violin (scroll) should come to base of palm, i.e. wrist. The violin is too large if it hits the middle of the palm.
